Young voter apathy? Not at Prairie View A&M
Voting is an American right that shouldn't be squandered, which is why all Americans should be proud of the 1,000 Prairie View A&M University students who marched seven miles from campus to the Waller County courthouse to protest the lack of early voting sites. Waller County officials had planned only one early voting location for the March 4 primary to save money but added additional locations after the Justice Department, students and residents applied the necessary pressure. Democracy in action. ~Dallas News
